Icebreaker: Pitch Edition

  • — Two Truths and a Lie with a persuasive storytelling twist
  • — Myers Briggs personality test for group dynamics
  • — Skills: confidence, persuasive speaking, creativity

9:30 – 10:15

Simon Sinek's Golden Circle

  • — Explore the Why, How, What of starting a business
  • — Students identify personal motivations and passions
  • — Fill out a one-page business card template

10:15 – 11:00

Problem Pitch Relay

  • — Groups pass a baton — each adds a problem-solving idea
  • — Identify real-world problems they care about
  • — Debrief: which ideas had potential?

11:15 – 12:00

Speed MVP Challenge

  • — Design a solution for a chosen problem in 15 minutes
  • — Draw it, name it, describe who it's for
  • — 60-second elevator pitches to the group

12:00 – 12:45

Branding Sprint + Logo Game

  • — Create a business name and logo with paper and markers
  • — Optional: draw blindfolded or swap halfway!
  • — Discuss the importance of visuals in pitching

13:30 – 14:30

Pitch Prep & Coaching

  • — Mini-session: voice, clarity, storytelling
  • — Draft a 1-minute pitch: Problem | Product | Who | Why

The Pitch-Off!

  • — Dragon's Den-style panel pitch to peers and teachers
